Londi Gamedze
Londi Gamedze is a PhD candidate at the University of California, Berkeley. Her dissertation focuses on novels written by South African women writers in the 1960s through 1980s, and how these books deal with political consciousness in the anti-apartheid movement. She makes art, writes about novels and films, and loves to eat delicious bowls of ice cream and pasta (not in the same bowl). She enjoys running to stay fit, despite being rather slow. She hopes to continue teaching, improve in all her hobbies, and one day write a TV series.
