Sugar Daddy is based on an original story by award-winning author Dianne Case. Dianne has written more than 20 books for children and young adults, including Love, David. She has been writing for and about South African children for more than thirty years. Many of her novels have won awards, including the Percy Fitzpatrick award, which she won for her 1992 novel, 82 Queens Road.
Ros Haden worked with the original Sugar Daddy to style it as a Harmony High title. Ros is a writer and editor. She has published two adult novels, The Tin Church and Love tastes like strawberries, in addition to numerous short stories, children’s fiction and school textbooks. Ros has a MA degree in Creative writing from UCT (distinction), a Diploma in Advanced Studies in Publishing from Oxford Brookes University (distinction), an HDE (PGP) and a BA degree majoring in English (UCT).
