Atiyya Dawood Karbelkar
Atiyya Dawood Karbelkar is a Muslim woman born and raised in Lenasia, a city south of Johannesburg. Atiyya is a published author and short story writer whose works delve into the lives and emotions of her readers. She uses her writing to eliminate stigma and to address, explore, and challenge various social beliefs that plague minds in the 21st century.
Atiyya is qualified in the field of Human Resource Management. Having developed a love for reading at the tender age of seven, she has evolved from the girl who reads books to the woman who writes them. She uses her social media accounts and her blog as platforms to showcase her talent. Lessons are woven into her characters and stories, keeping her audience engaged and leaving them with something to ponder after each chapter.
