Cover2Cover

Cover2Cover is a small independent publisher, publishing fiction for children and young adults, including our flagship Harmony High series. We publish memoirs of inspirational South Africans under our Face2Face imprint.

Our books for teens and younger children deal with contemporary teen issues and uniquely South African problems in exciting ways. We’re lucky to have a dynamic relationship with our readers. Read about our Literacy Focus here.

Cover2Cover started in 2011. Dorothy Dyer, a high school English teacher at the time, found that her students were not connecting to the books available to them and so were not reading. She set out to address this problem and teamed up Mignon Hardie, Ros Haden and Palesa Morudu, all passionate about getting South Africa reading, to create Cover2Cover.

We’ve come a long way from the days when The Harmony High series was discussed around a dining room table. From our offices in Muizenberg, we now publish a range of school literature books, have completed Season 1 of the Harmony High series and started several other series for teens and children, and have brought out some extraordinary books under our Face2Face imprint.

We continue to grow in unexpected ways, publishing books that speak to South Africans and inspire a love of reading.
