Florence Longwe

Florence Longwe comes from the rural area of Engelsdraai Farm near Badplaas in Mpumalanga where she still lives. She fell in love with writing and wrote many short stories as a student at Insika High School. [In 2012 she completed her studies in Public Management at the University of Johannesburg and worked as a tutor at Engelsdraai primary school.] One of her short stories was included in a collection Sentangabomu (Shuter and Shooter year?). Her collection of short stories Inkhanyamba was published by via Afrika in 2022. Imphindzelo is her first novel.
